The first thing you notice when you enter this restaurant are the lobsters and fish swimming around the the tanks. No, that is not decoration, that is somebody’s meal — yep, it’s one of those restaurants were you pick your meal before they catch it, take it a way, and cook it. Mind you, I have never had a meal like that, namely because the portion is so huge that I am unlikely to finish it all one my lonesome, though I did notice that when I was in Hong Kong, a lot of the restaurants did operate that way. As for this one, it did have a really authentic feel about it, and they even had decent chopsticks as opposed to those really tacky ones you find in other restaurants. The food does come out reasonably quickly, and are fair sized portions, but at least they let you take it home in a container.

I love to two-types of roast with rice usually but found this average and reckon there are wayyyy better places in the CBD for the same price.

C-culture is a great example of consistency. The food is consistently fresh and tasty. The service is consistently efficient and it’s consistently busy. Not always crazy busy, but busy enough that you know it must be good. My favorite dishes are the pork done three ways(crispy fried, bbq and steamed) and the crispy noodle and beef dish. The fried tofu dish is also a winner! This place is good for large and small groups or you could eat there on your own and not feel alone.
