Boccone is the best pizza I had in Australia so far ! Thin and crusty paste, fresh and tasty products. What else … Oh the pizzaiolo is from Naples and top ranked in the world. 15 $ to take away

Wood Fired, traditional Italian imported ingredients, not heavy sauce or options you wont find in Italy… this is a trip worth taking if you really enjoy old world food, not remade Italian but genuine. The Buffalo Mozz and Prosciutto salad is amazingly fresh and straight off the boat, the crusts are perfectly cooked not too much– not undone. They need to carry more local beer and some better wine choices, and maybe add a few more desserts, but if you fill up on great pizza you wont even have room for more! Give it a try you wont be sorry.

Nice quaint place, staff is friendly and atmosphere is relaxed. The pizza and calzone were good: crust thin, good bressaola, nice parmesan. Unfortunately nothing really special either. A solid pizzeria and a good place to go if you are in the area but not worth its current tripadvisor ranking in my opinion. The prices are classic for sydney pizzeria: 20 to 25 aud per pie

I usually go to Doughboy or Out of Italy but after a friend told me about a new place that opened across from LL I thought I would give it a try. If you want traditional pizza, made by Italians from Italy in a stone pizza oven(very rare these days) you should give this place a try. There are only 8 – 9 pizzas to choose from, simple toppings and the pasta is handmade.

Had a terrific meal here last night. They were very accommodating with modifying the menu, turning the Gnocchi with prawns & napolotina sauce into a delicious Gnocchi with prawns, zucchini and cream. Loved the pizza — always important to get a good base with pizza and they delivered on this. Being wood fired was why we came here and they didn’t disappoint. It’s also wonderful to see Lankelly Place now filling up with restaurants on both sides of the lane way — making this little corner of Kings Cross vibrant and enjoyable for an evening meal.
