The sandwiches were tasty enough, and the cappuccinos were passable. The staff was quite lovely as well.

Bread can be so boring, I wouldn’t touch a piece of white bread if it was the last speck of food on earth,(okay maybe I would and also If it is wrapped around a greasy sausage and onion), but bread can also be so delicious and versatile. I am obsessed with grains, seeds and brans. My flatmates stare at me in bewilderment and ask what are you eating as I pile wheat bran and Chia Seeds on top of my muesli and I tell them I will live to be four hundred. Luneburger at Potts Point can help you also live to reach four hundred as they have the most amazing breads loaded with healthy stuff. They have an amazing sun flower seed bread, which is loaded with rye flower and they have another rye bread which is a crusty bread, one of my favourites. And I cannot forget the fruit loaf, I love fruit loaf with butter, but I am often disappointed when I discover a handful of saltanas throughout the whole loaf. Well the Luneburger one is jam packed with saltanas and raisons. I could go on and on, they have turned bread into art.

This german bakery chain is growing more popular in Sydney with stores now open in Kings Cross, Wynyard and the Queen Victoria Building. Its no surprise though if you’ve been to one of their stores before and tried one of the savoury or sweet baked treats which’ll sure to have you hooked. I really like their sandwiches on their pumpkin seed rolls and their hot, freshly baked pretzels in the morning.
