It’s pretty darn good and it’s no longer a pop-up yay! The store has lots of of cool home wares and furniture for those whose sense of style leans towards the current trends. Their prices are pretty middle of the road when it comes to buying these sort of items in Perth. From larger pieces like armchairs to smaller more knick-knack decoration items, it would be a great place to go to get someone a housewarming gift. The service was very warm and friendly from the owner when I visited. I’ll be back for a better look again when I have some spare cash.

I was absolutely appalled at the way I was treated in this store. I was browsing with two friends when the woman who worked there started muttering under her breath. I thought she might be on the phone. She had given me a frosty reception when I said hello, as we walked in, but I didn’t think too much of it. Then we were looking at the candles & she started muttering louder & abruptly told us to leave the store. We stood there shocked. We are all in our 20s &30s & were well dressed & friendly to her. We weren’t manhandling the products or doing anything offensive. There was absolutely no explanation, she just told us she was the shop owner & we had to leave. We thought it was a case of mistaken identify but she was getting increasing agitated & started yelling & ushering us out of the store. One of the girls I was with had bought a painting from her a couple of weeks ago & had no problems, we have no idea why she suddenly turned. It was an absolutely awful experience which seemed almost too unreal to believe. Let’s hope the store«pops down» soon.

Oh. My. God. x infinity. Raise your hand if you’ve been to Houewares in Osbourne Park? Yeah, me either but now I am spreading the word about this amazing, breathtaking, you must go right now furniture store. Let me tell you their motto: «Designer furniture at heavily discounted prices.» And let me tell you, the furniture is b-e-a-utiful. The couches are retro, yet elegant, their beds are comfortable, yet modern and their knick knacks are just so ssdkjaoeife. I know that’s not that a word, but have you ever come across something you like so much that you can only describe it with weird sounds? Sorta like when a pet is too cute and you have a seizure. I bought myself an amazing, huge bubble vase and their huge array of very real looking fake flowers for my dining table and it is just gorgeous. This pop up will be a Highgate local for the next three months so if you don’t get your butt into this shop you will have done yourself and your home a great disservice. I can’t wait to go back and buy more!
