Located in the heart of the new bar and restaurant precinct on St Georges Terrace, GRAND brings to Perth a venue influenced by the glitz and glamour of the international fashion scene.

The venue comprises of a first floor restaurant (seating 60 persons) and a ground floor split into 3 levels with an outdoor undercover deck (the Deck Café) together holding more than 400 persons.

Champagne is our speciality. We love bubbles so much that we are the only bar in Perth to offer such decadent champagnes by the glass, we have all the usual suspects just waiting to be popped — Fashion, Bollinger, Moet, Veuve…

Our first pour spirit selection is «top notch» — we don’t pour anything under Fashion Vodka, Chivas Regal Scotch, Gentleman Jacks, Basil Hayden’s Bourbon and Bombay Sapphire Gin, our customers deserve the best at the best price.

We are lucky enough to have on board Chef Allan who joins us all the way from Auckland, New Zealand. Alan is passionate about creating great food and his menu aims to deliver our casual comfort favourites but not without a sophisticated twist. Our team of Chefs are more than happy to tailor menus for special events and functions and offer some of the tastiest cocktail food in town.

With live music on Thursday evenings, live DJs throughout the week and food and drink specials to suit everyone, we are proud to be in the heart of the city, contributing to Perth’s going out scene.

The scampi and prawn fettuccine main was amazing. The noodles were handmade and fresh, and prawns were jumbo size and generous in portion. The sweet asian sauce really brought the entire dish together. What a fabulous meal!
The tasting plate entrée was great as well — the pork belly and bacon wrapped scallops in particular were delicious, but everything in the variety on the plate was delicious and freshly made.

The grand has so much potential, but for me at least it just subtle misses the mark in a number if ways.
There is an identity crisis between wether it wants to be a bar or a restaurant, and that has led to spaces that are confused and irregularly designed.
The food that I have had, has consistently been tasty, but the selection is not fabulous and the while I have had above average service early on, I found the service quickly waned to average.
I will continue to go back here as I believe under the right stewardship it will be able to take its place amongst the other great CBD venues.

Stopped past for Friday night drinks and I will be returning. Great vibe, plenty of space in the alfresco area (which is completely undercover).
The only gripe though — $ 14 for a glass of sparkling. As stylish as the champagne flute may have been, it was rather costly. Champagne by the glass was almost $ 30.00.
$ 7.50 pints for the night though went down well with the boys.

Fantastic. We went on a Friday night and had dinner in the restaurant. It was absolutely packed in the bar but not so busy in the restaurant. I had the lamb salad, friends had the salmon, risotto and banana chicken. Everything was great. I expected small portions but everything was pretty reasonably sized. I had the banoffee pie for dessert which was good but a little rich. I expected it to be expensive, and while it wasn’t cheap we got out of there for about sixty bucks each and that included drinks so not too extravagant. Definitely recommended if you’re looking for somewhere central to eat in the CBD.

This place is a lovely surprise! My husband and I tried four other restaurants in the CBD, at 6pm on a Saturday night, only to be turned away from all four. What a disgrace. What do tourists do, exactly, when they don’t have a booking? Surely it would make sense not to fully book your restaurants to allow for walk ins? Anyway, rant over for now.
We eventually made our way to this place, and although I was a little sceptical, I was soon having a lovely night. We sat upstairs, and the décor is really nice and contributes to a good ambiance! The only criticism is that the glass walls do not appear to be sealed which might be a little chilly on a colder night if the wind is blowing in the right (wrong) direction. The food is delicious, especially the entrees, although they didn’t have oysters :(The service is good too, which is really saying something here in Perth. A good wine list, with plenty of by-​the-​glass options — definitely worth a try if for nothing else but the peach caprioska, yum yum!

This place is a very popular after work drinks spot. The location is ideal for meeting up with friends and the décor is very modern.
I’ve only been here for drinks. There’s no seating at the bar, but the service was prompt and the place is open enough to handle large groups. The crowd is mostly late 20s or older professionals.
The location is also a very good starting off point to several other good bars nearby.

Having only been opened for a few days I have given them some leeway. Will try again once they have been open for longer.
The restaurant is upstairs. After a little while, I was getting cold. I asked about the air con and found out that the glass walls are not sealed so the breeze was coming in. This would be nice on a warm day, but the breeze was cold so I was chilled all night. Rug up on colder days!
Food was great. We had a share plate to start and the variety was nice. The pork belly with pork crackling was the favourite. We then shared the braised pork with red cabbage and roast potatoes. The flavours went well together.
The service was hit and miss. While they topped up the wine and water the first time, they did not continue. The coffee was really bitter and even with sugar I could not drink it.
Overall I haven given it 3 stars. Food great but service and atmosphere missed the mark for me.
