It’s a reasonable place great for late night. My partner and I come here after late touch rugby games when we need a feed. The salty garlic cucumber, gf is hooked on these, and the dumplings are fantastic. I also like the Chinese burger thing. The noodle dishes always disappoint us(we forget we don’t like them). They don’t always have stock of everything, especially lamb balls(gonads). Not too keen on the skewers actually, but they aren’t bad. The fried rice is a very generous portion. Service is good. It’s not a fancy place which is cool. Drinks other than tea are expensive. 4 dollars a Bundaberg ginger beer is a bit steep. 30 – 40 dollars should cover two for dinner without alcohol.

Went by as a stop on a Food Loose Tour to try their namesake skewers. They were pleasant, though the flavour was unexpected for Chinese cooking with a high prominence of cumin in the spice mix.

Nice place, this was my first time here. Food came out fairly quickly although the service was a bit slow with asking for drinks. It was lucky our friend spoke Chinese :) The meals were delicious and reasonable prices. We had an assortment of dishes and enjoyed every one of them. It’s a shame I forgot to take some pics! Oh well next time! Would return to this place to try more dishes :)

I like how this place is explanatory. Although it isn’t common that I crave a beer and skewer — I do like that I can rest easy in knowing if I do get the urge for a beer and skewer I can come here and get that need fulfilled. As for the quality, I did enjoy a range of skewers. There were spicy middle eastern type skewers and good ol’ satay skewers. We also got a tofu dish and cold noodle dish. Both were generous servings and well priced. The beers were mostly under $ 10 and I think the menu had lots of options that were well priced. I enjoyed this restaurant and while it isn’t the best I have ever had it was definetly not bad. I did also enjoy that they had a range of meats that wouldn’t normally be eaten in the west.
