They need to work on their pace and consistency. They got my order wrong twice and as a result I had to send the burgers back twice while my friend had already devoured his. HAVINGSAIDTHAT: The burgers were OUTSTANDING. I ordered a double chicken burger patty(as I’m a food fatty) with pear and camembert. I’ve never had fruit in a burger but the combination was delicious and full of flavour. What I loved most which is crucial for a good burger is the brioche bun MUST be cooked/toasted or grilled and it was ! These guys definitely get a big thumbs up for me.

I love the burgers from here, they are delicious! I always get the red hot beef burger, which had red onion and chilli jam with salad in it. A definite must to try!

Hunger pangs for a burger after helping shop for a white dress. Got the BBQ beef and bacon for $ 14. And regular chips for $ 5. Limited seating so take away with 10 min waiting time. pleasant syrupy pop music while waiting. Quick lunch then back to assist ladies with shopping.

I love burgers… Especially chicken burgers!!! Needless to say I’ve had my fair share of chicken burgers and I know what I like. Flipside, unfortunately didn’t make the cut. I went to Flipside for the first time yesterday with 2 friends and we all got something different. I got the Chilli-ander chicken burger and the other 2 got the Taxi CAB chicken burger and the cranberry sauce one(sorry forget the name :/). 1 friend and I had the $ 10 lunch deal which was great and I can’t complain about the price :) Chili-ander chicken– The bun to meat ratio was nice but the chili jam wasn’t great. When I think of chili I think of spicy and it barely had a kick to it(level 2⁄10 spicy; there was a decent amount of jam on it too). I also prefer a whole piece of meat rather than medium sized chunks. When I would take a bite a big chunk of chicken would come out and after that bite I would have to go through bites of just coriander and bread to get to more chicken. The chicken was cooked well but nothing special. I would definitely try a different burger next time. As for my friends, they said their burgers were ok. My friend that had the cranberry sauce one had to take off some of the sauce because there was way too much she said. I will return one day because of the great lunch deal and hopefully come out with a better experience! :)

On our europe trip l made many discoveries. Cultural discoveries, personal discoveries… and I discovered the beauty of putting blue cheese in a beef burger. Who would have though that these two greats would make such a power couple. Flipside is the only place I’ve found so far in Perth that offers this which has made for their swift accent to the top of my burger joint list. I have always liked flipside, I will even admit to going all the way to fremantle from mount Lawley to their shop there before they opened the northbridge one. And if you like bars as much as you like burgers then flipside is a good family to know; All three of their stores are situated next too(or under in the case of the northbridge one) a bar that will gladly let you bring your burger with you while you have a drink! They seem more homemade then the grilld ones, which I love but definitely give off some made en masse vibes with how hazardly they slop on that mayo.

I had high hopes for this place. Walked over to Northbridge for a late lunch based on some reviews. As far a décor goes, this place is pretty sparse. Usual order at the counter set up. I went for what the call the red hot burger and an order of chips. The service was friendly and the order arrived in a few minutes. For the non-carnivores out there, there are some healthy options at well. The red hot burger comes with what they called chili jam and salad. I added bacon and cheese at an additional cost. I like hot nd asked for jalapeños but they don’t have that as an option. My first impression was that the bun to meat ratio was off. The bun was good. It was crusty and did not fall apart, but really that was no problem because the patty was way too small for it. On first bite, the burger was not seasoned and in no world would it be considered red hot. The chili jam was more like grape jam. Kinda weird. I usually don’t like to salt my food, but this patty was asking for it. Overall, this is an acceptable burger, but not memorable in any way. More another generic gourmet burger wannabe. As a pro the chips were good and fresh. Bottom line: my search for an good burger in Perth continues… stay tuned. Stay sexy my friends!!!

I’ll keep this review short and sweet — it’s for the $ 10 tue-thu lunch menu. So I think this is fitting! Oh Flipside Burger Bar I’m glad there are not more of you around. My waistline would expand beyond all reason. The burger I had was the«Triple B» chicken breast, Brie and cranberry sauce — yum. With chips I was stuffed full. Why 4 stars? No knives or forks. Slightly petty — if I was in jeans and a t-shirt it would be fine. Suit — knives and forks are required.
