Tall Short Espresso

Dropped in today after walking past Tall Short many times. I recalled the great coffee from when they were in the city and I wasn’t disappointed today! The coffee is fantastic, and the place is always busy with people catching up over coffee on the funky bench seats. The eats menu is simple and reasonably priced, allowing for the coffee to be the focus. And they have a small sweets cabinet for those with a sweet tooth.
Tall Short also turns into a bar on Friday nights, and Saturday and Sunday afternoons it seems. Judging by the beer, wine and eats board, it’s something I need to check out.

I haven’t come here to sit down yet — it’s just on the way from my home to the CIty so I usually drop by for coffee to go. While I’ve found their staff rather awkward (they’re not very chatty or friendly, and the waiting area slightly inconvenient, particularly when it’s busy (it’s a tiny shop!), their coffee is absolutely excellent. The temperature is always perfect and I have yet to be disappointed. Their coffees are reasonably priced: small («short») $ 3.5, large («tall») $ 4, iced latte $ 5. Plus, they come with little gingerbread men (or when they’re out of those, little cookies)! Unfortunately they don’t serve full meals but they have muffins and rolls at reasonable prices as well. I’m yet to try one, though. Will likely return here tomorrow morning for another tall cappuccino!

This place is great — quick service, great coffee and convenient location! Easy place to grab a coffee (and free gingerbread man) before work or come and relax and watch the Paddington faithful on the weekends.

Love this place… Best coffee in Paddo, and it’s not like you don’t have options !! The little Ginger bread man with each coffee is a nice touch too. Also craft beer at a good price.

Creamy coffee goodness is served up with a fresh mini gingerbread man. Good service, fun vibe and dog friendly! I will definitely bring my dogs to help with a 2^nd review!

I’m giving the coffee a ⁶⁄₁₀ because it was watery and they forgot to add honey as per my order (which I didn’t realise until after i left). I also ordered a bagel with cream cheese to go and when I opened the paper bag, the cheese was I n a little tub (as opposed to being spread on the bagel). Hey Tall Short, I’m not paying you so I can make my own bagel. That’s your job. I got it to go. That probably means I don’t have time to sit down and spread cream cheese on it myself.
