Muffin Break Oakleigh

What is it that makes Muffin Break a perennial favorite of mine. It ticks a few ‘diabetic’ boxes with me with its gluten free offerings and a decent decaf. It is one of the few places left in the world that offer a plain toasted cheese, ham and tomato lunch time special. In a world of piadinas, bruchettas, falafels and chiabatas it is good to roll your tongue around a cheese toastie. If you’re a regular like myself then you don’t even have to open your mouth to have your order fulfilled and served. Yes, did I not mention before that they actually offer customer service to a table. How quaint. A local and regular also get a nice discount without having to beg for it and the staff are always pleasant and helpful.
