Nice tasting takeaway coffee. While I was waiting for it I admired the very pretty, delicious looking cakes. My coffee came with two little Easter eggs. It’s easter Tuesday so I thought this was a really nice touch. On the down side the coffee took a really long time and as others have said, the staff looked bored, no smiles, no eye contact. I smiled and tried to make eye contact. The cakes and treats looked seriously delicious and I wanted to be supportive.

The chocolate coated gingerbread man earns this place a LOT of stars. The iced mocha is also sensational and nice and strong. It would have 5 stars if the tables were wiped down and the line moved faster.

A very busy place, and while the waiters and waitresses are friendly when spoken to, they all looked overworked and tired — which may explained why they rarely paid attention to you. Desserts are not bad though.

After walking through the shopping mecca that is Chadstone, my cousin and I decided to stop off for a quick sugar rush to get us through the rest of the mall. I ordered the milkshake and was not disappointed. Lots of flavor and definitely not exclusively a kids drink. My cousin ordered the macarons and reported that they were delicious. If the servers were a little more attentive, I would be giving this café 5 stars. I just wasn’t feeling it on the day and after looking at other reviews if this is just how things are there everyday.

Dear Lindt café, Please know that everything I am about to write comes from a place of love. You have EVERYTHING going for you– AMAZING chocolate, little cakes, the creamiest most divine coffee and a convenient location. YOUHAVE A CHOCOLATETOWER. You have macaroons and ice cream and warm drizzly pots of chocolate. You have eclairs that actually taste like they come from gay Paree. You just have everything going for you! Why then, dear Lindt café, is your service SUCH A COMPLETEFREAKINNIGHTMARE!!! Every time I come here I am served by someone who looks bored at best, if not thoroughly pissed off. My coffee takes 45 minutes to arrive. My food is forgotten and I have to go up to someone and ask where it is. I get grumpy, and I don’t enjoy my chocolate treats anywhere near as much I should. This makes me sad. Please, Lindt café, improve your staff! Make them happy! Put more on so they can do their job properly! I promise you won’t regret it. And when you do, I’ll give you the five star review you SHOULD be getting. Love always, Chocolate Lover xoxox

Shopping can be tiring, and what a lovely(and delicious) place to rest and recoup in the middle of Chadstone. This café is so intriguing and mouth-watering you can spot it from ages away thanks to its seating plan that pours cleverly into the walkway(with no visible glass/walls dividing its ‘inside’ and ‘outside’ area). If you’re a chocolate fan(and a Lindt fan in particular), then you should definitely give this place a visit. They have tones of little chocolate delicacies for purchase, as well as their regular staples(plus flavors you’ve never seen before). They also offer a variety of rich dessert(try the opera cake), as well as a menu for hot desserts. I ordered some ‘dipping strawberries’ that came with a pot of melted chocolate, ice cream, caramel flakes and coconut for dipping. It was amazing… until, I discovered one of the strawberries had a bit of mold on it! I informed the waitress and she was very apologetic and offered to replace the strawberries. She returned from the kitchen in a short while and told me if one of the strawberries have molded, then the rest of them are probably starting to go bad too, and she did not want to give me bad strawberries. Instead she gave me a complimentary box of 8 macaroons! This was extremely generous, as they usually sell the macaroons for around $ 3 each. I would without a doubt go back there; I think the strawberry thing was just a once off bad day scenario. The woman was truly surprised and apologetic, and the chocolate is just too good to stay away from.
