When we picked up our takeaway meal the staff were standing around talking and not concentrating on what they were doing while taking payment. We got our order home(Dilkhush Malai Kofta, Channa Masala, Rice, pappadums & a garlic naan) and first of all there was leaked Channa Masala throughout the bag(okay, that’s picky but it did annoy me). Secondly, the Channa Masala was swimming in excess ghee. Thirdly, we opened the malai kofta and there were only THREE small balls swimming in a very runny sauce(for $ 13 I would expect more than three small koftas). I could find something significantly bad about every item that we ordered — Along with the overuse of ghee in the channa masala, the chickpeas were undercooked and very unpleasant. The Malai kofta was delicious but the sauce was way too runny and there was not enough kofta. The rice was undercooked and tough to eat. The pappadums were oily and soggy. The naan was tough and chewy. I was extremely disappointed. Perhaps it was just a bad night for them but it was enough to turn me off from going there again. There’s just too many other good indian restaurants to go to.
