Came here with my boyfriend for some Indian takeaway. We got the couples meal which were 2 curries, 2 naan bread, 1 rice and some papa-dams all for $ 35. Probably the most amazing curry we’ve had, and perfect for the price — we got the beef vindaloo and the butter chicken. Definitely returning.

I’m a huge lover of Indian food, so I’m always looking for new decent Indian restaurants. Unfortunately, they are often few and far between. I’ve been aware of Jatt Flava for quite a while, but hadn’t eaten from there until this week. Not knowing what to expect, I decided to play it safe with a medium Chicken Tikka Masala, rice, and cheese naan. The curry didn’t have the thick texture I crave in an Indian curry, but was very tasty with a good kick of chilli and plenty of onion and capsicum in the sauce. The naan could have been a bit chunkier, but was also quite nice. I had takeaway, so I can’t comment on the dine-in atmosphere, but the restaurant was nicely decorated inside, and you can BYO bottled wine. It’s also very cheap — the mains are all priced around the $ 15 mark and you can get the special banquet for under $ 30. I’ll definitely be heading back to give that banquet a go.
