I’ve visited Moreish in the early morning, so I can’t say what the lunch and dinner food is like, but I’ve had many, many breakfasts here. The only drawback I can think of in terms of Moreish is the name (it’s one of a few ‘new words’ that constitute a pet peeve of mine). Everything else here, I love.
The staff are always friendly. And I mean, genuinely friendly and very generous. One morning the chef decided he wanted to mix up the menu and try a new dish, and asked if we wanted to try the dish for free in exchange for our opinion. Of course we said yes and it was delicious (mine was a unique take on Eggs Benedict with Hollandaise sauce that hit the right level of creaminess).
Typically however I’d order poached eggs on toast, sausages and mushrooms here — because I love a standard hot breakfast, no matter what time of day. The coffee is also excellent; I can’t ever remembering ordering less than two cups per visit at Moreish.
