Just because they do something doesn’t mean they should. I craved fish and chip but was time poor and hit the Melbourne Central food hall. I saw the sign for limited time fish and chips and my taste buds got excited. It took quite a while, did they cook it fresh? Not sure. 2 pieces of fish and a few large chips. Chips were hard not really crispy. Certainly no light and fluffy potato in the middle. Fish was hard to find in A LOT of batter and once I did it fell apart on my fork. It came with tomato sauce which was nice on lovely crockery plate. The young women who took my order served me with a smile and was genuinely nice and friendly. I will go back and try their burgers but I’d advise you to give the fish and chips a big miss.
