Great food and surroundings, lovely helpful staff. And finally a restaurant that knows a short black in not an espresso, its a short black :) Will be back for sure :)

Hokay. Now… on the one hand you have very very nice tandoor action. On the other, terrible website and lack of updates on the price. On the one hand bad jasmin rice, but quite nice palak paneer. A bit pricier than local competition, but also better quality for most stuff. Take away is easy. Dining in, seems feasible(doesn’t seem to get too crowded). So a solid A-OK kinda joint. Unless you skip the rice. then it is great.

While a little more expensive then our local curry house, Chefs of Tandoori always goes above and beyond to prove they worth paying good the extra. The food is always delicious and full of flavour, there are so many options for vegetarians(and even vegans) and the service is impeccable. My Nana even claimed the tandoori lamb chops were one of the best meals she’s ever had!

This place is underrated in my opinion. It’s our go to Indian restaurant in the area when catching up with friends. I love sitting in the back part of the restaurant with high ceilings. We have been back here multiple times and have never been disappointed. The curries are delicious and their Tandoori chicken has a lovely charcoal flavour. The staff are accommodating and if you like spicy you can ask for extra spicy on most of their curries. That way you’re not missing out on your favourite curry type. If you’re really up for a challenge, successfully eat the Zingaloo and go on the wall of fame!

This is a regular spot for my girlfriend and I to go and spend hours solving the problems of the world over a beautiful chefs banquet and Kingfishers. The meals here are always delicious, and the service attentive without being too invasive. It gets busy on Friday/Saturday nights, so pays to book a table. The upstairs mezzanine is great as you can look over the restaurant and take in the beautiful art and textiles dotted around the tall walls. Great food, great atmosphere, great chai!

Mmmmm tandoori. When Tandoori Oven closed I was bereft as I love food done in this special way, and yet so often it’s challenging to find places that do it well. Chefs of Tandoori is one of them however. They burnt down a while back, but have now ressurected from the ashes(hence they’ve added Second Innings to their name). And their tandoori delights are as good as ever. There are two that I adore, the paneer which comes in pieces, and the chicken which you can get as a half bird if you are hungry enough. There’s plenty of other options on the menu but for me it’s all about the tandoori. In a nutshell — say it again, tandoori!

Tis a privilege to be the first to recount my experience at Chefs. This place is awesome, fantastic Indian food. You’ll get a bang for your buck. The food is full of rich flavours and you get plenty for your dollar. All the curries are around 8 dollars so you can grab a few. For $ 30 I got two curries, a naan, rice, and onion bhaji. My advice order hundreds of them, stash them in your underground bunkers to tide you over for a nuclear winter.
