The Bent Spoon

I really like the Bent Spoon, they cakes in there are enough to put a smile on anyones face. The most beautiful looking cakes. I kind of wanted to take them all but I went with a cupcake and it was soooo good!
My friend actually got her wedding cake and it was just delicious, but not only that it was really pretty and I know she was really happy with it!

With its quirky business name, you can expect some colourful and very original cakes coming out of the kitchens of The Bent Spoon. This is the first place I’ve ever seen a ‘bouquet’ of cupcakes, which makes for a rather refreshing substitute to the usual roses or tulips for that someone special (though might add to the love handles). The cupcakes in these bouquets are so tiny you could gobble them in individual bites, but I’m assuming that’s not kosher behaviour at high tea, for which I assume a lot of their business is catered to.
The Bent Spoon can also take care of food catering for everything from private home dinners to corporate events, cocktail finger food to buffet lunches, and are renowned for providing the prettiest of wedding cakes, with the operators welcoming customers for a coffee and cake on premises to discuss individual needs. But don’t wait to get married to have something special made here: I just spotted a cake on their website in the shape and motif of a Burberry handbag, so I’m sure they’ll let your imagination run away with you here…
