Story Bridge Deli & Cafe

My partner goes here on his work break with all his co workers and they all love it so I asked him to take me there! I ordered the all day breakfast with bacon, tomato, eggs and toast and the serving was HUGE! I barely ate half of it! Was very impressed! Ordered an ice chocolate which I was very skeptical of as I hate watered ice chocolates but it came out looking amazing and with the ice cream tasted pretty good. Will definitely return.

First of all; I canNOT believe that this café is not listed on Unilocal.Sure, it may not look like much from the outside, but it’s a quaint little café/​deli that sells fresh salads, sandwiches, fabulous Merlo coffees as well as delicious hot foods.
Granted, I would not have been here had I not purchased a $ 20 Scoopon voucher worth $ 40 that I was able to redeem on food and/​or groceries. I finished my exams today so I came here with a good friend of mine. She ordered tequila chicken tortilla ($ 13.90; the chicken was marinated in tequila and it is absolutely gorgeous) and I had the gourmet steak sandwich ($ 12.90; real butter on toasted sourdough, I nearly cried tears of happiness). My friend is lactose intolerant and there is supposedly yogurt sauce on the tortilla, so they actually offered to replace it with something more lactose-​intolerant-​friendly. The service was absolutely amazing, each staff was friendly and kind, it’s almost like dining at the house of a relative you actually like (and also a good cook) who you don’t get to see that often.
They were quite happy to share the recipes with us when we asked, too. So down to earth, so amazing. Pretty good prices as well!
