I had a seriously horrible experience staying at the bridgewater apartments down the street from here in which their incompetent staff woke us up at 6am with not one but 3 separate calls to our room. Tired and angry I went on the hunt for a coffee and the staff here at Tuppies were so friendly and accommodating that my horrible start to the morning literally washed away within the first 2 sips of this fantastic coffee. The breakfast was lovely and really well priced, and they did not mind altering the dishes to accommodate my husbands dietary restrictions. The eggs Benedict was perfectly cooked and had tones of fresh avocado and beautifully grilled mushrooms. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone after a quick, great bite to eat.

Tuppy’s is an unassuming looking corner store that cooks up an amazing surprise. At only $ 8.70 the hamburger with an extra patty(including salad and cheese) is my second highest rated burger ever, coming second only to the appropriately named ‘Awesome Awesome’ from Beefy’s in Reno, NV. You wouldn’t call it gourmet but it’s big taste, big meat, big cheese, awesome value! Update: I have now had this burger cooked several times by the main chef and once by his apprentice and they both did a great job.

The only place to eat in Brisbane !! Great food, people and prices. Not«5» star but«5» star value.

Great little convenient store on Kangaroo point. It looks like it’s a family run business and everyone is friendly. They’ve got everything you need for a decent home cooked meal, but most handy for late night ice-cream dessert runs. Also a good breakfast spot.

God bless Tuppy’s — the corner store with the most-est. A combination convenience store and fast food joint, Tuppy’s holds a special place in my heart: it’s cured many a hangover for me and was my go-to place for a greasy but satisfying brekky or lunch when I worked in the area. The people here are absolutely lovely and bend over backwards to make you happy, particularly if you’re a repeat customer. The food on offer isn’t mind-blowingly original(think hotbox full of dim sum, crumbed sausages, chicken drumsticks; a black board offering burgers, toasties, hotdogs etc) but it is filling and cheap. If you want something less greasy you can always ask for a freshly made sandwich. They do espresso coffee too(unusual for a greasy spoon) and a decent breakfast menu, which you can enjoy at one of the footpath tables. I also appreciate that they have endless self serve sauces(everything from tomato, BBQ, mayo, vinegar, mustard and more) instead of those stupid little sachets for 30 cents a go – complete bulls**t.
