The sushi is always very nice and reasonably priced. I do avoid the hot food because it’s not actually at the required health department heating settings either that or it’s been in there too long and not close enough to the bottom of the bay Marie and they are losing heat during the day.

I have mentioned in a few other reviews my love for sushi, and when this place opened in Joondalup, I was obviously pretty keen to try it. I am a vegetarian and so I always hope for something and well they had a vegetarian sushi pack only the one choice so I got it. It was good sushi, the rice was moist and the veggies where crunchy and fresh. The reason this isn’t my favourite isn’t because of the taste of the sushi it is the options that are available to vegetarians. Now I know that they had the one option when I went the first time, the next time I went they didn’t have anything. I wanted to get a box to take away as I was on my lunch break. Not one thing didn’t have meat in. I was a little shocked, but thought it may have been a busy day or maybe they are making some, so I left it. The next time I went back it was the same, nothing. I again just left it and went else where. When I get back a couple of days ago I thought ok lets try again, and again nothing! This time I had to ask, I said do they sell a vegetarian option and the lady behind the counter that spoke very little english responded ‘no sorry’. I walked away feeling somewhat annoyed.

This is my local spot for sushi and Japanese. I love everything they do. Sushi, spring rolls, and that fried chicken stuff with the sauce that I just point to and the lady gives to me for $ 6.90 Everything is really delicious and you can tell it’s made fresh. And unlike other sushi shops, they don’t charge a million dollars for their rolls. It does get quite hectic because it’s basically squashed in this tiny pathway that leads up to Big W. But it is certainly worth the wait. They also do a mean bubble tea. And the best part for me is that it’s a 5 minute walk from my work. Score one, Bianca.
