Been coming here for years and always been good for food and drinks but went last Sunday and was utterly disappointed with new change of menu and presentation. Has it changed management again as the food was below average. I should of known by the change in menu style, gone from Irish green brochure which was colourful and funky, to a white A4 laminated menu, not only was the menu lack lustre the food was too! Paddy’s is now no longer my go to choice for chill out food and drinks…

It’s ok to order and pay at the bar and then wait for one’s meal to be delivered. It’s even ok to require guests in the bar section to get their own cutlery from a corner by the door. However, because I hadn’t been there before and couldn’t find the panier with the pre-prepared cutlery, I instead followed one of the servers to another corner where there was cutlery and helped myself. I almost just took cutlery and dishes from a set table in the restaurant area, but refrained and told myself it wouldn’t be nice to do that. So, instead, after I picked up cutlery from apparently the wrong station, a server stops me, takes the cutlery from my hand, and directs me to the other cutlery station. She had to be right and I had to be wrong. Well, I certainly didn’t feel very welcome. Don’t think I’d go back because the Thai salad wasn’t great either — it had regular lettuce, long thin rice vermicelli, and not much flavour. Not much about it was Thai. I’d recommend they take that item off the menu because it’s an Irish pub!

What a lovely establishment this place is. My partner came here for New Year’s Eve and we had a wonderful time. They had great live music, very fun and friendly atmosphere and the bar tenders gave great service and were having an enjoyable night a well :) will definitely come back here again.

Can’t really say much about this place. I think the food is average and overpriced. Every time I’ve been here, they have always managed to screw up the orders. But maybe its just me…

Had dinner here with some friends on sat night. The boys had the steak mine was the 300 gram sirloin. It was cooked to perfection and the garlic sauce was nice and creamy. The girls had the traditional beef and Guinness pie, they both raved about it. The pints of Guinness to wash it down tasted great and were pulled to perfection a rarity in Australia.

To be sure to be sure twiddly dee– but hold the potatoes. I have been to Paddys’ once and it was rather a none event. Fair enough it may have been a wednesday at the casual hour of 11: am but I found the atmosphere to be pretty flat. As a rule of thumb, any«Irish pub» that has a name like«Paddys.. . «or anything with an «O» at the start of the name is usually pretty run of the mill.(call me a generalist but so far«the Elephant and Wheelbarrow» has consistently been a favourite of mine– coincidence? I think not.) Th staff were pleasant and the bar wasn’t too sticky– again, it was early days. The secrecy and seclusion of the pub had a certain charm about it but I think I’ll stick to greener pastures closer to the city for my shenanigans.

Paddy Malone’s is an Irish pub in Joondalup. Irish pubs are a dime a dozen — it seems like anywhere you go, there is a high probability of encountering an Irish pub. Apparently, there is some type of shambolic charm in pubs of the four-leaf clover variety. Paddy Malone’s doesn’t differ much from the usual template of Irish pubs. There is dark wooden paneling along the walls, comfortable privacy booths, wooden floors and quaint advertisements extolling the virtues of drinking Guinness adorning the walls. The food at Paddy Malone’s is typical pub fare, but done well and with very generous portions — so, bring your appetite. There is a good choice of food available on the menu, and the prices are fair. There is also a decent selection of beer available. Paddy Malone’s is a decent place to chill out over a lazy, weekend afternoon. Also, their music videos are a hoot. Who knew the 80s were that terrible, fashion-wise?

This place is a lot of fun. It’s popular on the weekends, with a line at the door. So be prepared for a bit of a wait. It gets extremely noisy in this place, not where you want to go for an intimate dinner. The décor is stereotypical Irish pub, with lots of dark woods. Old style guiness pictures and Irish flags adorning the walls. There is a huge selection of beers on tap. The guiness comes cold. The prices of drinks are reasonable. The food much better than you would expect from a pub. Very tasty and reasonable price.

I always have a great time when I come here, unlike other pubs in Joondalup, it is slightly more, laid back and fewer fights. I came here a couple of Mondays ago and it was pie and pint night. $ 18 for a pie and a pint, can’t really complain! The had four different choices, I had creamy vegetable and my boyfriend had beef and Guinness, both delicious. They are pot pies and I am pretty sure it was filo pastry on the top which is my favourite. They come with a massive portions of chips and a salad with a delicious ranch dressing. The best thing is you can pink any pint, its not like you only get one choice. I had a cider! The food was delicious and cheap and the service was just splendid.
