La Vita is tucked down Central Walk in Joondalup’s CBD. This place is popular and very busy. It seems most people either love or hate this place. They do have a large outdoor area. The old Italian guy sitting out the front blowing smoke on you is a bad start to the evening if you have asthma. The staff have attitude, especially one lady, who I assume is the manager or owner. The food is okay, nothing great. I think the pasta at Pasta Cup is better, and not anywhere near as much price wise.

Although the food once received is delicious and the service is great, the time you have to wait for a meal is too long. Yes it gets busy, but my motto is don’t have that many tables if you can’t cater to that amount of people.
It is right in the centre of Joondalup, and obviously good as it seems to be busy whenever I go. The pizzas keep me going back, really delicious. The guy that owns the place is so friendly and gives a really personal service.
If it was a bit quicker to serve food I would rate it a 5.

La Vita is one of the best places to eat in the Joondalup area. For decent prices, La Vita offers a great range of pizzas. They also offer take-​away, if you would rather eat at home.
If you choose to dine at La Vita, you have the choice of sitting inside or outside. The outside area is well-​shaded and spacious, while the inside has an intimate vibe. The food is generously-​portioned — their pizzas are filled to the brim with topping, and cooked to perfection.
La Vita is highly recommended if you are looking for a great meal in Joondalup.

This place is seriously good cooking. I’ve been here a few times over the past couple of years and the food is consistently good, bar one undercooked prawn in my plate on a rainy winter day in 2003. They’re in a pretty good spot too. Right in the center of Joondalup, where all the action happens. It’s a world away from Kulcha (2 minutes walk) and is a serene spot in comparison to the rowdy Irish pub across the way.
The seafood risotto was probably one of my highlights as well as the spaghetti marinara. And, if you’re interested, they have an adjoining gelateria that serves some good quality ice-​cream.
The service was fantastic, even when we rocked up at the very last minute and ordered entrees, mains and desserts. I would actually really recommend it to anyone who is in the area and would like a lovely pasta and a complementing glass of wine.
