Decent food and large servings, Seems to be for older groups though.

So. This place. We have an on-off relationship and can be hot-cold depending on how the meal is cooked on that night. Sometimes their menu selection is great with some appetizing specials. The other times their food lacks oomph and is so bland. The staff are nice and helpful. This place is packed on st Patricks day with lots of entertainment. This year was a fun night but the security guards seemed a little mean and abrupt kicking us out at the end of the night. In the last few days the place has been spruced up and removed the TAB section which was their best decision. The restaurant has been updated and the toilets have a more modern look than before.

The Old Bailey is not where you find the young, hot or trendy. This is OLD english style, figuratively and literally. Think your parents age during the nights and during the day large work groups and families. Drinks here are not cheap, but the food is great, large portions and nice service. It can get very noisy. Not the place for an intimate dinner. I do keep coming back for their english style roasts with a beer on a Sunday. Just like the good old days in London.

A nice old English style pub. Set in the heart of Joondalup, just down the road from Lakeside. I think it lost quite a few customers when the Sov was built in Joondalup. They have a similar theme, and similar food. Personally I prefer The Old Bailey, it has a better vibe, and better food. The food is delicious, the roast dinners on sunday nights, those yorkshire puddings are amazing. The sausage and mash, is so yummy, with a onion gravy to die for and the portion sizes are huge! They have karaōke nights on Thursday which can be such a laugh, especially if someone you know gets up!

I love the Old Bailey! It’s not usually a spot for 19-year-olds but there is something about it that just has such an elusive charm. There is a main restaurant and bar area, an outdoors seating area(for those hot days) and an adjoined sports bar for betting on things and whatnot. When I first turned 18 and was keen to enjoy was much of the good life as I could, I became quite a regular at the Old Bailey and became quite accustomed to their laid back charm. The food is amazing and has a real home cooked charm. I was quite impressed with the chicken parm, and I think if you can really nail the chicken parm, you can win my heart. It’s great for the whole family and from what I’m told weekend nights really go off. It’s just a really great place that you can call your local. I’ve had a few run-ins with not-so-nice staff but I’m sure everyone has their off-days. That’s really the only criticism I have. Otherwise, it’s just a really good English pub.
