This is my absolute go to place for a casual Sunday afternoon catch up or a mid week sugar fix. Sinful sweets and delectable desserts keep customers coming back for more. Staff are always playing around with new tasty creations and combos but are careful to still kick it old school with items like a bowl full or fruit loops available on the menu. Adorable décor and relaxed vibe keeps makes this sweet tooth a proud regular. Baker extraordinaire Marnee is also available to create custom cake designs that will have you drooling. They say don’t shop when hungry, well you should definitely avoid the Sugar and Nice insta account if you’re on any type of diet because it will break even the strongest willed with their insanely brilliant creations. Sugar and Nice is sure to entice, so be sure to pop in and bring me back some of that rich smore slice.

Nice coffee and a great selection of sweet treats ranging from lollies, freshly baked donuts, cupcakes and a variety of slices. There are also some savory stuff for those not wanting a sugar hit! Been here 3 times now and whilst the initial service is good I find it can be a bit slow getting your coffees.

I was stoked when I heard Sugar & Nice will be extending their opening hours on Thursday and Friday to 9PM on both evenings. It is always so difficult for me to venture out to the Northern suburbs during the working week. Peanut butter milkshake — We loved the saltiness the peanut butter added to the otherwise very sweet drink. The chocolate one was just like any other chocolate milkshake I’ve had. Best thing about these milkshakes — they are made with Bannister Downs milk — only the best milk ever! Mr Drummonds crumpets with mascarpone cheese and raspberry donut jam — The mascarpone cheese balanced out the sweetness from the very well. Although delicious, I thought this was a bit steep priced at $ 9. Midnight chocolate cupcake topped with salted caramel buttercream and clinkers — I’ve heard so many good things about Sugar & Nice’s midnight chocolate cakes so I had to try one for myself. The cupcake base was moist, soft and not overly sweet. The buttercream was just how I like it — light and fluffy like clouds! Swiss meringue buttercream is always the way to go. The clinkers and chocolate coated rice puffs added a nice crunchy texture to the velvety cupcakes. Croissant — It was just ok? Just a normal croissant with minimal flakiness. I think my palette for pastries have been tainted by Chu Bakery. Chu Bakery pastries have changed my life and nothing else has ever come close(and maybe nothing ever will)! I’m loving this new addition to the Perth dessert and café scene. Perth has been lacking dessert cafes for a really long time. And even until now, there hasn’t been anything awesome. Sherbet café in Maylands has been around for a while but I don’t fancy their sweets. They use American buttercream which I absolutely despise. Too sickly sweet for me! Marnee on the other hand uses my favourite type of buttercream on all her cakes — delicately smooth Swiss meringue buttercream. Marnee also makes custom designed cakes for special occasions. You can follow her Instagram(@Sugar_and_nice) to see all her drool worthy creations.

I’ve been craving doughnuts for the past week so the one with passion fruit filling did the trick! It was delicious! Also got one with hazelnut cream filling. Omg I could eat a few of both! I make custard ones at home but it’s so much easier when someone else makes them(and they taste so fabby fab fab!).

Best cake shop around. If you want/need an awesome cake for a loved one come here. Fork over the money for the cake and leave happy. There is no other competition.

There’s no menu but everything looks so yummy. I had the chia pudding for our brunch — It was delicious. with the toppings. It became a bit bland without it at the end. The cronuts were not bad. Chai latte was a bit bland. Décor was very cute.

I love the food and coffee here! I come quite regularly to Sugar & Nice. However, today I raced in to get a coffee for myself and my sister. I only had a limited amount of time today. So, I placed my order and waited, and waited, and waited… Listening to the blonde barista chattering on about the size and shape of take away coffee cups. All the while not making any coffees. 15 minutes pass and still no coffees then she continues to take two more large orders. May I also add, no other person was waiting for a take away. In the end, with no coffee even started, I had to go because I was out of time without even an apology. Quite disappointed. I love this place but today wasn’t a good experience.

Always fabulous coffee and a beautiful selection of cakes and biscuits … The Banana bread takes the cake and the staff are always friendly.

Cute little place. Great coffee, friendly staff, good selection of cakes and some awesome knick-knacks at the back. I’ll be back to try more, soon! :) Update: Been back twice. Once for another lovely coffee solo and once with my nephew who had the caramel slice and gave it a 10⁄10. I didn’t taste it myself as it was probably not vegan and I couldn’t be bothered asking! I’ll probably ask next time. :)

Sugar and Nice is so beautiful inside, cute and funky. They had all kinds of delectable baked goods on offer that day, but I only had eyes for the cronuts with mango and lime curd, white chocolate glaze, pistachios and raspberries. The cronuts are light and crisp on the outside, tart from the curd and sweet from the glaze. I fall in love at first bite! I think more visits out to Sugar and Nice are on the cards since I spied on Instagram they also make a cookies and cream cronut!

This business started up last year but even tho’ I live in the area I didn’t discover it until December when I was walking from my hairdresser Klassy Kut to IGA Inglewood. Since then it has been my #1 coffee stop. It’s great for catching up with a friend or friends for a coffee and cake which is what they are about. Quiet enough so you can have a conversation. A really good selection of cakes, muffins and sweet breads etc. You can have a very light lunch — toasted sandwich and I think the same at breakfast — cereal, toast. Open 7 — 5 Monday — Friday, 8 — 5 Saturday and 8 — 4 Sunday. First thing in the morning there is a hutch for take-away coffee etc and tradesmen use this. For interest there is a small gift area at the rear of the shop. You can also order a celebration cake — the ones I have seen for birthdays look great without being too over the top.

Cute little café in Inglewood. Small interior but a pretty fit out. Also sells small giftware as well as the delicious baked goods.

Sugar & Nice is perfect for a relaxing mid week coffee with a selection of delicious cupcakes, slices and sweet treats! The indoor area is fairly small with lovely décor, a quiet atmosphere and dim lighting making it perfect to enjoy a relaxing day off or a break from work. There were so many yummy treats it was way too hard to choose just one, but I went with the salted caramel cupcake and it was amazing. I often get scared off with desserts in fear they will be too sickly sweet, but this cupcake was perfection! There is also a little store at the back of the café where they sell cute little knick-knacks and jewellery, and you can also grab a coffee on the go as they have a little service window that opens out onto the footpath. Very cute and is something a little bit different than your run of the mill coffee shop!

Yay a real chai latte that wasn’t made from sickly sweet syrup A good choice of sweets, mini cakes, muffins, doughnuts & cupcakes. There were no macaroons there this time though, so I’ll have to go back to try them. They also have a few savory things there, I had a cream cheese bagel which was so yummy. Service was friendly & quick. I’ll be going back for sure

Located next to Miss Kitty’s Saloon, Sugar & Nice is a cute coffee and bake café. Keeping things fun is delicious macarons, lemon meringue tarts, banana bread, savoury and sweet muffins by wellknown baker, Marnee, aka Made By Marnee. S&N serve breakfast– Loved the fruit loops and coco puffs on display as nostalgic childhood faves, as well light lunch options. Walking in, you have to wait for your eyes to adjust to the mood lighting. Good place to enjoy your coffee in quiet or catch up with some reading. This would be perfect for winter with its sleek, modern décor, however with summer fastly approaching, I hope they decide to ditch the moody, dim interior and opt for something light and fresh to reflect the laid back summer vibe. Can’t wait to see what the warmer months bring.

Sugar and Nice is the creation of MadebyMarnee. A gorgeous, well thought out and cosy cake shop. Home baked goodies, indulge in store or take something home. The coffee is really good, the service is lovely and it’s so nice to tuck yourself into one of their cosy chairs having some quality ‘you’ time or catch up with a friend. I’ve been here every week since it opened & it’s just perfect.
