Salmon Rissoles Came here for a casual brekkie whilst meandering through Indooroopilly shopping centre. Decided on a cappuccino(a weakness of mine) an some salmon rissoles with salad. The rissoles hit the spot and the salad was very fresh and tasty. The service was warm and efficient and the food was impressive considering it is shopping centre ware. Pricing was pretty fair too. Not a bad spot for a bite if your in the centre and hunger gets the better of you.

I quite often come here for breakfast or just a quick coffee while i’m out and the service is always fantastic. Reasonably priced food and drink and the barista(if you’ve been here you know who i’m talking about) always produces the best coffee. I don’t think i’ve ever had coffee better that what he brews. Service is always fast and you know you’re not getting cheap food for what you pay like some other large coffee establishment we all know. They’ve recently relocated to level 2(near Target) because of the refurbishment that’s taking place. Not the best location but that cant be helped. They might not be the biggest, or the fanciest café in brisbane, and they are situated in the middle of a shopping centre, but they make up for it with everything else a hospitality business should have. By far one of the best joints i’ve been to.

Makes a pretty good cup of coffee. I come here for their chicken burger which is always well made. Sometimes it is hard to get a seat but I suppose that is not so much a negative as it is an indicator of the café’s popularity. Out of all the café’s in Indro Shopping Centre I prefer this one.

Out of the many cafes in Indooroopily shopping centre, this one is by far one of the best ones. Even though there is nothing that makes it unique, it is a café that excels in customer service and efficiency. I have dined here a few times but the main reason I like to come here is for the coffee. I am amazed at how café XS is always busy but always seems to be running so smoothly. There are hardly ever any dirty tables with plates left behind as the staff always seems to be on top of that. When I have stopped here for a coffee and light meal in the afternoon, our food has been at our table in less than 10 minutes. They are even better with their takeaway coffees– I never find I have to wait any longer than 2 minutes for mine to be made. One Barista in particular(the guy with the dread-locks), makes the best coffees ever in the matter of seconds which always leaves me very impressed. So if you are planning on heading to Indooroopilly shopping centre and find yourself needing a quick coffee or meal, café XS is one of the best options you have got.

I went here recently when I was looking for a quick takeaway coffee and bite to eat and was very pleased with the efficient friendly service and quality cuisine. It’s not a full table service joint, with orders being taken at the counter and run out to you. Being in a rush and without any cash I was very happy that the clerk waived the usual $ 10 eftpos minimum for me(my coffee + ham & cheese croissant came to $ 8.50) and didn’t insist that I buy something I didn’t want to make the stated benchmark. I had asked if it would take long to make my order as I had to be somewhere within 15 minutes and he assured me it wouldn’t take long. Aware that the concept of time is quite relative I wasn’t completely assuaged by this, but to my pleasant surprise the coffee and croissant were ready to go within a five minute wait. The Di Bella coffee was well prepared by the busy barista, and the croissant did the trick. A look a their specials board showed some wholesome and tasty sounding dishes for around the $ 15 mark, such as «Low fat salmon rissoles» and: Marinated lamb with haloumi, tzatziki, a toasted bagel and chips. If I wasn’t in a rush I probably would have stayed to try them out!
