Just ordered beef spicy po a few minutes ago. Never in my life have I ate such horrible food. The beef was thick sliced of the lowest grade meat and the noodles was spaghetti noodles. The soup tasted like a 50 cent pack of Ramen noodles. Took a taste and left the meal on the table. Should have known it was not an authentic Vietnamese place. Avoid this place and take your money and time elsewhere.

The Vietnamese Kitchen is a fairly classic Asian take-away /restaurant. Basic tables and chairs, a bain marie of pre-cooked classics like Beef in Black Bean Sauce or Sweet ‘n Sour Pork and an ice-cream counter. However, don’t underestimate this place — the Ice Cream is Valhalla(brilliant Tasmanian-made ice cream) and if you avoid the bain marie items you get delicious fresh Asian food fast. Personally, I recommend you order the Beef Noodle Soup and pile on lots of the [very hot] chilli oil that is available on most tables. It will burn you to a crisp but you will love every bite!
