Previously Di Palmas, this new reinvention, in my opinion, surpasses the former. The set up is much the same, it looks a little tired inside, or you could imagine it’s rustic Italian. Let’s go with this. The ‘local’ deals are great with Pasta Night on Wednesday where you can get pasta and a vino for $ 20. It’s a similar deal on Tuesday night with Pizza Night, pizza and a Peroni for the same value. I’m pretty sure they use something far more enticing and Italian than ‘Pizza and Pasta Night’ but for now my memory fades me. However, it remembers easily the pizza we were served on the evening, it was deliciously thin crusted and just the right amount of topping. Some wood fired pizzas at other establishments in the region feel barren while others crowd their toppings which end up fighting for identity but this one is just right. Delicious and while I haven’t been for their pasta, the rubbernecking at my neighbor’s dish confirmed my thoughts — looks excellent.
