Cafe Beesting

I admit that I am a Eurovision Tragic, it’s a big deal in our house and we usually go all out cooking or attempting to cook the food of the Host Nation while it scoring the ‘acts’. With this years (2015) Eurovision being held in Austria, naturally the menu/​food options consisted of strudel, strudel and MORE strudel. Café Beesting (which used to be King of Cakes) was my go to for Austrian style treats.
With lots of onsite parking and seating inside and outside, this is a great little café with lots to offer. I was pretty impressed with the amount of sweet options, including cakes, baked treats as well as savoury choices that you can take away as well.
The Cherry Strudel that we had was just the right amount of sweet and tart and I’m starting to crave it as I type.

Came here for a lunch date with a friend and was very impressed. A nice selection of sweet and savoury foods that are very affordable. Lots of seating indoors and out with a quiet, cosy atmosphere. Appreciated our server for being so patient with us and even offering complimentary water with our cakes. I got the ‘Death by Chocolate’ cake slice while my friend got the Apple Danish and Black Forest cake slice. My slice was very rich and the danish was fresh tasting. Would definitely come here again.
