Terrific coffee, great service, almond milk. I havent tried the food but the coffee is the bomb!

Wonderful little place, my best friend lives right near it so we watched it grow from brand new, the owner is super lovely and always greets us warmly, the coffee is fantastic and the food is yum!
The décor is rustic artsy trash treasure and the vibe is great. One of my favourite places on the south side I can’t recommend it more. Plus there is an op shop right next door… Total win.

The coffee here is the real highlight. I stop here every single time I’m at the Rocklea farmers markets which are just up the street. So pretty much fortnightly. The service is quick and the service area is near a window so you can wait out on the sidewalk out of he way while they make your takeaway. I personally love this touch because I hate awkwardly milling around the counter to wait and no one knows if I’m in line or just loitering like a creeper. The décor is fantastic. It’s a small area, not a lot of seats so if you are going to sit in for breakfast or lunch go on a weekday like I did. The food is good. They have your basics like breakfast sandwiches and bagels and a seriously decent cabinet selection. The manager is a doll. Always super friendly and cheerful. Parking can be a bit of a hassle being street parking predominantly but I’ve never had to walk more than a kilometre from my car. If nothing else grab a coffee on your way through. You won’t regret it.

A fantastic little café punching above its weight.
Bringing a modern but not sparse aesthetic to the area, you’ll first see the AstroTurf façade, and then notice the finer details– Edison globes hang from the ceiling, and road signs hanging from the walls.
There’s great coffee to be had, and a cabinet of some great looking food. I had the Breakfast Bagel (bacon, egg, sharp cheese and a chunky tomato relish).
Service was very quick, even with 20+ people already inside.
There’s indoor and street seating — your usual faire of kitschy wooden tables and metal stools.
Take a seat at the bar, and let the commotion rage on outside. Gas Espresso also sells their beans by the bag. Will be back for sure!
