Situated very conveniently beside Zara and towards one of the entrances of Burnside Village shops, H by Felici is a nice retreat from the shops. Sitting near the glass doors in winter, I got to enjoy the sunshine. The lunch menu is made up of small bites, wraps, salads and pizza. I had the roasted beetroot salad with lentils, feta and rocket. It was a substantial lunch for me so I’m happy and fueled up for more shopping! They serve breakfast, have juices, coffee, wine and beer.

Hidden away in the corner of the Burnside Village Shopping Centre lies this great café. H by Felici’s atmosphere is impressive despite looking over the busy shopping centre’s car park. Secluded from the rest of the centre, it becomes a great place to avoid the loud noises of people going about their weekly grocery shopping routine. The coffee is slightly over priced but tastes great and is brought to wherever you decide to sit. H by Felici take great pride in their food as the presentation is always stunning. With the kitchen in full view, customers are able to watch as their meals are professionally prepared. The menu offers impressive breakfast options as well flavoursome soups, salads and focaccias. The staff were generally unhelpful and lacking knowledge of the menu. In addition there was no table service when ordering. However they did bring out all the food and coffees with a smile H by Filici has both impressive indoor and outdoor seating arrangements. The outdoor couch seating area is a nice place to relax and forget about your busy schedule. There appeared to be bar with a detailed wine list however I fail to find time to drink alcohol during the day at a shopping centre.

Overlooking a car park you would not think that H by Felici could create the atmosphere it offers. Located at the plush Burnside Village Shopping centre H provides customers a comfortable place to enjoy lunch or coffee to break up a hard day of shopping. With a wall of glass facing north, the sunshine streams into the restaurant creating a warm relaxed feeling, the chairs are soft and comfortable to sit in and I have found myself feeling quite sleepy after a lunchtime glass of the Adelaide Hills champagne. The service here is unimpressive, the waiters and waitresses are very inattentive and the last time I was there nobody came to our table at all. I counted the last time I was here and I went to the counter to get service four times. It is so disappointing as everything else here is so well done for a ‘mall café’ and the menu has been written well. I find myself coming back for the kitchens efforts and presentation is something to rival here. I frequent this place with my mum(with a relaxed and light atmosphere H is a good place for mother daughter catch ups) and Zara is located next door! The menu is perfect for a girls luncheon as the kitchen does some wonderful filling and flavoursome soups and salads. I stay away from the heavier meals here as they are quite overpriced and together with the service I am quietly reminded that the café is in a shopping centre and not a restaurant in its own right… yet. The frittata of the day is always a favourite of my mum and the last spicy chicken soup I had here was so heart warming. The hamburger here, though quite pricey, is quite light which is nice as a special treat to get you going for a big shop, however, watch the bloating waistline for clothes shopping, I learnt the hard way! *relishthegoodthymes

Great place to have coffee and the kitchen is in full view during dining. Looks very flash and really sit well in the Burnside Village shopping complex. Their outdoor dining area is huge, in fact larger than their indoor place.
