The selection of brunch is more than adequate, yet when busy be very patient and prepare to wait. I can’t help but think the poached eggs are cooked in poached egg mold shapes judging by the shape they come out in. Was bitterly disappointed when my pocked eggs resembled hard boiled eggs, not runny at all:/ All in all best to come during the week as there is less traffic inside. The food is very tasty and a varied selection of brunch classics and Turkish inspired meals.

One, two, three strikes… After a new owner, a transformation to the décor and a name change to Pera Kahve(previously Blendz) earlier this year the opportunity existed for a turnaround in this small coffee shop off the main drag in Glenelg. However when you’re competing with so many other highly regarded coffee joints in one very small locale you need to have all your coffee pots in a row! On the plus side fortunately the menu hasn’t been tampered with, coffee beans are also still for sale and there is also now the addition of genuine Turkish coffee and home made soup. Sadly consistently poor service lets the owner and business down regularly. Slow service is barely tolerable but regularly losing orders(I’m talking at least 4+) is inexcusable. An opportunity exists to provide a unique Turkish themed experience with generally good coffee in a comfortable, nicely decorated interior.
