We had breakfast here. I had a croissant with ham, cheese and tomato which was perfect. My daughter had the pancakes with syrup, berries and ice cream which she gave 4⁄5 stars. The coffee was strong and tasty, and my daughter had the ice tea which was house made and refreshing. The décor was great, and it was a lovely place to spend a lazy Sunday morning.

Wonderful and peaceful in the morning, try the Cowboy Jaffle and a Latte or one of the Eastern Bloc Teas’ No high chair available, though you can head down the back and use a pram to rope off the section and create a good and useful place for a baby to play in. Not expensive, enjoy!

I’ve been here twice now. And both times the coffee has been really average. Ordered a flat white and got a mug of foam… The shop is nicely designed and has a good feel. But unfortunately the quality has me questioning my return.

Really great atmosphere, lovely desserts and occasional home made meals are at the Teahouse. One of the few places down here that has a huge range of tea and allows you to browse the scents to help make a decision. Suitable for all seasons, the area is closed behind large windows during winter to keep in the warm, but once summer kicks in, the panels are opened and it becomes this huge friendly place where lots of people come. The staff are wonderful and really easy to talk to and their ice chocolates are delicious. A somewhat hidden in plain view kind of place, The Teahouse is a gem that’s well worth a visit.
