I have been to Muddings a few times. They have really good pies. They also have great Capichinos.

My local bakery, it’s tiny, quaint and full of all the bakery choices you need! All freshly made from pies, pasties and sausage rolls, with all the flavours under the sun. Personally I love the sweet selection and can never go past the vanilla slice which is to die for! But the lemon tarts, Carmel slice and hedgehog are all supreme choices! You can also use their freshly made rolls to create your own sandwiches with a huge assortment of fillings from salads to all sorts of meats! It’s an exceptional bakery with great service and awesome food. If you’re in the area you could do a lot worse for lunch!

This place should be illegal, because I’m out of pocket after just sneaking inside. The other day I came here for the usual morning coffee after hearing all the praise from Unilocalers(hey, after all if you can trust anyone it is all the good Unilocalers rather than any other strangers I have never met). I was surprised at the large amount of freshly baked bread and decided to stock up a weeks worth of breads as well as a few muffins for myself and some workmates which was amazing ‚ Other than all the breads anyone could want this guys have all kinds of other treats including cookies in many shapes and sizes pies(apple pie, berry pie, meat pies an all the other pies), sticky date puddings, soft drinks and coffee which is honestly no that all praise worthy.

As a family we love visiting Muddings Bakery. My 6 year old daughter has been choosing her favourite cakes and biscuits from the cabinet window since she was 1. All her birthday cakes have been designed and made at the bakery. Not only do they look fantastic they taste great too. We have always found that the staff and owners go the extra mile for us.

Great food and efficient staff. One of the few shops of its kind in this area and Glen Waverley as a whole.

This is my morning bakery that I have been coming to for years. Maybe because it’s the closest bakery to me, but even if it wasn’t I would still buy from here. A non-pretentious little shop that sells fresh bread, pizza rolls, ham cheese rolls, cakes, croissants, sandwiches and other typical bakery items. They are quite busy during the mornings, with workers constantly coming in and out for a takeaway coffee and ham cheese croissant. They sell a few cakes(orange and poppy seed, sticky date, cheesecake, mud etc.), cupcakes, tarts, gingerbread men and meringues etc. They also sell muffins fresh in the mornings that are absolutely delicious! The flavors change every day, but they are all so good. I had a berry one once, and there was swirl of raspberry jam all the way through, it was fantastic. Definitely grab yourself a muffin from here. This bakery also stocks milk and pies.

Muddings has been there for years and years, and with good reason. There’s literally half a dozen bakeries within a kilometre of this one, but I can’t think of another that sells higher quality cakes and sweets. I bought a birthday cake for a friend there a few months ago, a chocolate cake. So rich and delicious, I think I’ll be asking for one for my own birthday next year. They also do pies, pasties and sausage rolls, and those aren’t too bad either. I used to regularly buy a sausage roll from Muddings, but now with all the variety in the local area, I don’t have them as often any more. The staff are pretty good, but it’s a bakery, so expectations aren’t that high to begin with.
