Terrible food. We couldn’t eat a bite of the donor kebab. Smells like fat. Chips were bad.

Kamil’s Kebabs has just recently changed owners and undergone a facelift. Sporting new signs and counters the shop is looking a lot more attractive than it used to. However the prices increased slightly and there a few new workers. The best part about this shop is that they serve quickly and you get your food in record time. Another reviewer stated that the falafels here taste soapy but I have never experienced that. The falafel wrap is one of my favourite dishes at around $ 8. I can never finish it and it’s a good value meal. For $ 10 you can get a drink as well. In the afternoons their pides go on sale and are $ 3.50 down from $ 6. I have been going to this shop for a couple of years now and I really enjoy the food and the service. As I usually go at around the same time each day I tend to see the same workers. Farris and Jamile are the two workers I most often see and they have always been super friendly when serving me. As I see them so often they give me discounts occasionally. It’s great when service staff remember you and it is just an extra reason to go back. Definitely recommend this place.

I’m sure they didn’t mean it to, I’m sure it’s not in the recipe, but the felafel has a distinct soapy taste. Ick. Housemate goes back all the time, but I always taste soap. Having said that, the felafel are gluten free and, at a dollar a pop, good value. So if you can’t taste the soap, go for it. Perhaps my tastebuds are weird.
