Best chips in Glen Waverley! Chicken is always moist and excellently seasoned. The staff are lovely and work quickly and efficiently.

I’ve had almost everything here but the chicken. The chips are nice: crispy outside soft potato inside. Just how good chips should be. Their hamburgers are good, as are their snack type foods (potato cakes dim sims etc). The fish is okay, but don’t go if fish is your main thing.
Overall, a nice enough lunch spot.

This is my local charcoal chicken joint and I love it. They use fresh free range Lilydale chicken that is roasted till the skin is crispy, yet the meat is still tender and juicy. I love the stuffing they use here, I never used to eat stuffing– but since coming to this place I would honestly be happy to just buy a bag of stuffing from them.
Every time I come here I also get their scallop potato, it’s so creamy and yummy!
This chicken joint also does soulakis, I have yet to try it but it always looks very juicy. The usual suspects such as chips, hamburgers, and snacks can be ordered here too. They also have a variety of salads, tiramisu and a rice pudding available, but I never get them because they look a bit old.
If this place is local to you I would recommend if for their great charcoal chicken (and stuffing!).

One of my favourite ways to have a relaxing lunch of a Saturday or Sunday is to grab half a chicken, a few rolls, and kick back in front of the TV watching the footy. It’s a great way to unwind after a busy week.
When I’m lucky enough to be able to do this, the place that I get my chicken is Waverley Original Charcoal Chickens.
The chicken itself is nicely cooked, still fairly tender and juicy. If you’re after chips as well, this place is pretty good. They also do souvlakis, but I have yet to try them here.
The service is pretty reasonable. It’s a good place to get cheap but nice takeaway.
