Great Korean sushi spot! Consistently fresh food, good value, great service and yum tea!!! I come in as often as possible!

Craving a quick snack, I went to Sushi Teppan to try their cheap teriyakis and sushi. The place is actually owned by Koreans, so I could see some Korean food on the menu as well. My friend and I shared the small tempura plate for $ 12, and fish and beef teriyaki with rice and miso soup for $ 10 each. The food was very salty and the beef wasn’t of the best quality. The sauce didn’t really taste like teriyaki, but it was good. The tempura was great. I really liked how they used panko breadcrumbs to coat the prawns. We were the only ones in the tiny restaurant, but there were people coming in for take out. Their special is one sushi ‘big roll’ for $ 2.50 and 3 ‘big rolls’ for $ 6. Makes for a good snack on the go. This was obviously a family run restaurant and the service was quick and polite. Our waitress was a very sweet girl. I’m not sure if I will return to have the teriyakis, but I would get some of the sushi, which is pretty cheap or to try a Korean dish.
