What a darling little place. You can tell the owner has put a lot of time and thought into the selection of his inventory. There is a remarkable array of beers by small craft breweries and most are available by the individual bottle. Earlier in the year when the weather was good, I helped myself to a few different brews, one Belgian and one local Australian, and found a spot on the grass where Glebe Point Road meets the harbour for my tasting. Another time, I went in there on a quest for a very full-bodied, almost jammy red wine. The owner was able to narrow down my preferences with a few questions and point me toward a great bottle in my price range(below $ 20). Situated on the corner of Forsyth and Glebe Point Road, and just up the hill from the new popular Timbah, it’s definitely worth stepping out of your way and giving the Little Bottle Shop of Glebe a try.
