Ah, Little Bottler, where would I be without you on a Sunday afternoon? Somewhere without my Pimm’s and lemonade cocktail cask, that’s for sure. But boy, I sure am glad that you do exist. Little Bottler offers a conveniently located bottle shop and walls filled top to bottom with wines, beers, spirits and premixed drinks. Although at times a little more pricey than your regular bottle shop, there are definitely some good bargains to be found. A chat with the owner or one of his staff will help you get the best deal on the most amount of alcoholic content for the lowest cost, stretching your money that little bit further. Helpful for, if like me, that’s the sole factor you base your decision making on. As long as Sunday afternoons keep coming round, you can guarantee I will continue to visit the Little Bottler.

Cheers to my local bottle shop, Little Bottler, for keeping me in fine weekend form for most of 2011. Their modest wine collection always suffices with occasional«two for twenty» deals and an array of dusty clear skins that are usually better than you think they are going to be, if you stick to the reds. The beer fridge houses all the usual suspects with a few European imports available by the long neck bottle. My British friend recently persuaded me to try the Banana Bread beer. Although I don’t think this will be a repeated action, it was actually pretty damn good. On Friday nights you can often find a mini wine tasting in Little Bottler from which I’ve come away with a nice bottle or two. If you don’t catch that, speak to the owner. He will give you his two cents on what characterizes each bottle without purposely steering you toward the ones that will slice into your savings. Lastly, if you’re going to a party, grab a 6 pack of cowboy shots on the way out the door. These split-glass prepackaged shots are part bailey, part rum, and part YE-HAWing awesome.
