The Home Provedore

Although I don’t consider myself a cooking whizz I think I could certainly and easily become one if I had all the wonderful and practical utensils found in The Home Provedore. They have everything from every major kitchen need, to quirky cooking gadgets and colourful home wares, and I was stunned by their collection of stove top cappuccino makers and how many different shapes and sizes they had. Having a mother who loves her home made cappuccino and uses a stove top cappuccino maker I now know what to get her for next Christmas.
If you are looking for something a little less pricey they also have sets of luminous knives that are quite affordable, lovely little decorated tea pots and my favourite; giant salt, pepper and spice grinders perfect for those who like a bit more on their plate. Two doors down they also have their essential bake ware store which I am in love with, they sell everything you need to master and beautify your baking. If you are a cupcake lover I suggest you come here they have lots of lovely sugar decorations (which are very difficult to find in Perth) cupcake wrappers, baking tins and so much more.
This store is bound to whisk any reluctant cook or baker into place and definitely helps in making something that is usually tedious something fun.

If you’ve ever fancied yourself somewhat of a chef you will get lost in a world of wonder once you enter this place.
If it is related to cooking or home and it exists (that’s the important part, existing) they have it. I sincerely doubt there is anything they don’t stock. What I found interesting was that the cashier was this older lady who just looks like your grandma that makes those delicious cakes and who makes you regret that weekend spent with her once you hit the gym again.
Now, I’m by no means good in kitchen (I burn instant popcorn, what else do I need o say?) but even I had to stop myself from buying everything in my sight.
I know where I’m going next time I have no idea what to get for Mother’s day.

This place is every little girls dream for when they grow up! Filled with beautiful collections of home and kitchen wares, that not only make your home look amazing, but of course everything has a practical use!
The store is filled with everything you could possibly need for baking, from icing decorations and cup cake holders to cake pans and stands, and of course you cannot be caught baking without looking the part, they have a gorgeous selection of oven mitts, aprons and tea towels. Now I’m pretty awful at baking but they have a huge array of baking books on offer to helping the kitchen-​skilled challenged like myself or to provide some bigger challenges for the more advanced. It is the perfect place to help you get your Betty Draper on!
If you are very into tea, like I very much am, they have some amazing tea pots and cups on show. You pretty much won’t want to buy any others once you have seen the stunning designs here. It’s impossible to leave without buying a little something and as soon as you are home, you’ll wish you could have everything in the store in your home!

Oooooh how I wish I could afford all the bits and pieces in this shop. This is quite a greedy statement considering I don’t even know what half of the items are for.
Regardless, I look around, pick things up and ooh and aah at the shiny surfaces and curved edges all the while imagining what it could be for.
It is a little pricey if you are not a full-​time chef or serious recreational baker but its not harm to own one or two fancy items to brighten up the kitchen adn impress your neighbours.
Their sales are pretty impressive and well worth a browse and even a purchase.

Stepping into this shop is like dying and going to baking heaven. If I could I would buy everything in here, and then spend my life baking beautiful cupcakes and tarts, and arranging them on pretty cake stands whilst wearing a floral apron. They have a covetable selection of cupcake cases, sugar decorations, icing acoutrements and a truly awe-​inspiring array of cookie cutters. They have all kinds of cake pan, about a billion baking books, and some really pretty teapots and teacups. In short, everything you could need to serve a simply marvellous afternoon tea. They also have chef’s uniforms, which, though irrelevant to me, I imagine is useful if you’re a chef. The staff are friendly too, and can help you with any baking question you may have. Lovely.
