Spank Candy

Rockabilly crossed 50’s house wife, crossed new aged goth crossed = Spank Candy. It has bought together an eclectic mix of styles and made some truly beautiful pieces. They have stylish 1950’s dresses, covered in polka dots and being cinched in at the waist by a big white bow, really lovely dresses, but they will come at a cost, $ 120 for the dress I fell in love with, now I don’t know about you, but that is a little steep!

Spank Candy is a cult classic!
I tripped through Freo yesterday and was tickled pink to find this store– it’s cute, it’s sassy and it’s sexy– what more could one want?
The selection of shoes in the window is cute and gives a taste for the diversity within (I can think of few starker contrasts than vinyl zombies and felt kittens) — The woman at the counter is lovely and has clearly made this shop her alter egos wardrobe. The corsets are gorgeous and well priced hitting around the $ 60 (at 50% off– sucker for a sale), with boning, silver latches and all of the cherries, hearts and polka dots you could dream of.
The pop art on the walls is beautiful too but heart-​breakingly not for sale (recent spoils from her latest trip to the U. S) and while she didn’t reveal her sources, she did say that she is trying to contact the artist to get some more work, in a sell-​able capacity. Great taste, sweet, genuine service, I’m sold!
