Normally I am a huge fan of this restaurant, however today when we went there it was really below standard. We ordered 2 lamb burgers and a sweet potato fries, accompanied by 2 drinks. Our burgers arrived and looked delicious. When I took a bite into mine I felt something hard on my tooth. I looked in the burger and found 2 slices of tomato, both slices were the end core pieces. I ate the burger and the rest of it was fine. When the waitress came to collect the plates I commented that I wasn’t thrilled to be paying almost $ 20 for a burger and get the bad ends of the tomato. She did apologise and advise me that, «we are really busy and we cut them up fast, you must have got what was left before we cut up more». «That’s probably all that was left in the bowl«. She grabbed our plates, dropped them into the kitchen and didn’t advise the chef or make sure no one else got bad tomatoes. It’s such a shame that a normally great restaurant and one I always saw as using quality produce is now cutting corners. Not good enough for the price you pay, step up people.

I’m a sucker for a restaurant that has gluten free buns. Sad, but true. That being said the food here was really really good. The burgers were cooked fantastic and the fries were great. My second trip around I got the chicken Caesar salad and it was amazing. I don’t know it yall just put a lot more effort into Caesars than we do in the states, but it was petty and delicious and I’ve wanted more since. The service was also fast and attentive. Even though you order at the register and they bring you your food, they still check in. They also give you a token when you place an order and you get to put it in one of three jars — each representing a community organization. The jar with the most after a certain amount of time gets a decent donation and the other two get smaller ones. AMAZING idea!

This restaurant was so cute! A real hidden gem. The staff was so friendly and helpful and very patient while I was taking so long to order. I didn’t know what to get because it all looked so good! They gave me tons of recommendations and even brought me extra sauces on the side so that I could taste them all. I will definitely be back again.

First visit to a Grill’d and this store hadn’t been open that Long. I’m impressed, very busy, lots of friendly staff and most importantly they got my burger right first go.(I’m fussy). The burgers are pricey in my opinion but they are big and really tasty. I’d prefer salt to be on the tables rather than having to ask for it but that’s my personal preference. Will come back again to try a different burger.

This was my first trip to Grill’d and I was so impressed! This Grill’d has just opened up — so new it doesn’t even have a liquor license, but signs say it’s on its way! The restaurant itself is very well set out, good for groups but also good for couples or a quieter affair. The décor is simple and modern, and overall very inviting. The service is fantastic — every staff member we encountered were friendly, efficient and helpful. The staff member who served me was joking and laughing, and more than happy to explain the buns and recommend sauces, the staff who served our food were efficient and friendly and as we were leaving we received a warm farewell from everyone within eyeshot of the door. Now to the burgers. Oh my. Incredible. There is a big variety on the menu and I can’t wait to go back and sample more. I ended up starting simple with one of the simple beef patty options with sweet potato chips and was so impressed. I finished the whole meal and didn’t have a heavy feeling in my stomach like I will get from most other burger joints. It really does feel like a lighter and healthier option. Burgers come alone, with the option of sides for one or to share at an additional cost. You also get the choice of a wholemeal or sourdough bun which is nice. They also give you a token which you can use to ‘vote’ for your preferred charity and the jar that receives the most tokens receives the donation which I think is a really nice touch. I will be back. Often. With everyone I know!

This shop has been vacant for sometime, and its great to see a business has opened up in a prime spot on the main café strip again. Shame that there don’t open till 11.00am. The menu is the same as the other outlets in Perth, I had the Wild West Burger, it was OK, staff were great and always on the move checking tables and patrons. Location is a real plus with alfresco dining.
