I was lucky enough to receive a gift voucher for Christmas to Inversion. A one hour, full body massage — I shiver with excitement just thinking about it now… Best present ever? Yep. I’m not one that normally enjoys massages, the thought of a complete stranger rubbing me up and down with oil is a bit weird, no? Plus previous massages had left me scarred(emotionally) and injured(physically) so I was quite hesitant. However I was immediately made comfortable by dim-lighting, soothing music and comfortable silence from my masseur,(I find it a bit weird when they try and chat to you as you lay half naked on a table.) The guys at Inversion specialise in remedial therapy, which means they use a mix of trigger and pressure point therapy — it sounds a bit wanky, but… wow. It was amazing, and created some really bizarre sensations. I also have had a troubling back for quite a number of years, but the masseurs run over everything before they begin to be sure they don’t injure anything further. They are completely professional and even managed to fix my crook back. Considering the prices of a number of other similar businesses, Inversion is incredibly affordable and offer deals if it’s your first time. This is not the kind of place you pop in to sporadically on the weekend, book a time and really enjoy yourself.
