Select Pets Bicton

My wife and I had been thinking of buying a puppy for some time. We’d recently moved into our own place (instead of a rental), and that gave us the option of getting a puppy.
I’d been looking online at a variety of options to get a pet, from breeders to pounds, and saw lots of options. But I hadn’t had a dog since I was a teenager, and really wanted to make the selection special.
We heard about Select Pets «no puppy farm» policy, and figured we should go and have a look on a Sunday afternoon.
In all honesty, it was going to be inevitable; if we saw one we liked then it was going to be impossible to leave empty handed.
The shop is a nice store, with friendly staff and it’s clean and inviting. They had some puppies in a caged off area that people could pat them, and a few others in a glass viewing area. We’d seen they has Lhasa Apso and Maltese Cross on their website, and because we wanted a small breed they seemed like a great option.
As soon as we saw the little girl, we knew she was the one. We held her for a while, and she was so placid and cute that our minds were made up.
The shop walked us through all the details (vaccination, worming, medication, feeding, etc.). Took out details and then showed us what we’d need (a great way for them to sell a few products before you walk out the door).
Kind of lucky we only left with one.
