Description

Specialties

Our Mission is to support healthy, active lifestyles, providing tasty, clean and wholesome food, fast.

So how exactly do we do this?

We have sourced the healthiest, most innovative ingredients and products, challenged traditional cooking methods and styles to create an enticing and extensive menu.

We take pride in our beautifully presented food that is as indulgent as it is nutritionally balanced, as wholesome as it is conveniently fast.

Stay for 2 minutes or 2 hours — you will leave recharged, refuelled and refocused

Yours in Health & Happiness,

Anna Hopkins (Founder)

History

Established in 2010.

The concept behind Whole Meal Café has been in the pipeline for over a decade. When I was just 14 and an enthusiastic competitive Gymnast, I told my parents that I wanted to open a healthy fast food restaurant. My exact words were:

«I want to have a healthy restaurant just like McDonalds but healthier»

The café was originally going to be called «Veg Out» just like you can see below in the drawings I did as a teenager. For some reason in 2010 when planning the café Whole Meal just jumped out at me and I decided to go with that instead.

The name may have changed but the concept remained the same — Especially after I qualified as a Personal Trainer and my passion for health and fitness was reignited.

We believe that eating healthy nutritious foods can be just as, if not more enjoyable, convenient and social as the less healthy alternatives.

15 years, & many worldly experiences later Whole Meal Café opened on 16th November 2010.

Meet the Business Owner

Anna H.

Business Owner

Anna founded WMC in 2009 after running her own Personal Training Business.

She became frustrated by the lack of genuinely healthy fast food options for people on the go, and the severe miseducation about healthy food in the retail market. She saw so many clients undoing their hard work at training by making poor food choices which completely counteracted the exercise they had just done!

Anna believes that in order to achieve your full potential in life you must first and foremost look after and value your body and mind.

Fuelling your body with nutritious, colourful and «Alive» food, and keeping your mind challenged by pushing your personal boundaries are the ingredients to a successful, interesting and inspiring life.

Anna’s favourite time of day is the early morning (yes 4am early) enjoying a cup of tea and thinking about the day ahead, and maybe doing some test baking!
