Cute little place. Highly recommend for coffee, though I’d say they’re not the fastest coffee producers in the world. That said, you won’t be waiting an age, but just check with the barista first if you’re in a mad rush. We stumbled across Café BU as we were staying with friends who live all of about 20m down the road. We just got takeaway, so I can’t comment on the sunroof(other than it looks beautiful and soaking up those early morning Melbourne rays up there would be a treat!), or even any of the food. But I did pop in because a little piece of artwork caught my eye, and the barista was kind enough to talk to me about the artist. If you’re in the hood, I would definitely stop by. There were some delicious looking treats in the cabinet that I would definitely want to try.

If Frankie magazine were to trans-morph itself into a physical manifestation of a café, it would be Café Bu. It’s a small little operation, but nevertheless, very bright and colourful. There’s a little courtyard outback, and and upstairs area with parasols, that I only glance at. Pop out windows at the front, and limited seating. Many sweet treats on offer, as well as toasties, and good coffee. On weekdays this is a small, quiet, away from the hustle and bustle little operation. Almost like a secret find. Quite impressed and will be back.
