Went in and tried to order in French, but they didn’t understand me. Come to think of it, that happens to me a lot in English too. Maybe it’s my Canadian accent…
In any case, the desserts are fantastic and there’s an excellent selection. I took a look in the cake fridge and decided I would come back here if I ever needed to bring a cake somewhere (I’m always surprised how often that happens). I like the seating layout, lots of space but still an intimate atmosphere. Prices were good, especially for the quality desserts on sale here.
If I come back on a nice day, I’ll get everything to go and take it to the beach — it’s within walking distance.

I’ve been wanting to go to this place for a long time, finally made it. It was really good as I was expected to be. The shop is small with a few table and one bing table for a big group. We got in about 4:30pm (shop closes at 5pm) just enough time to have a slice of cake and a cup of coffee.
I had a slice of chocolate cake and a latte, the chocolate cake is light not so sweet just the pay I like it and reasonable price about $ 4 per slice which usually if you go to coffee Club it would have been $ 6.
The gentleman who served us might be the owner with French accent. I also love the deco of the place — all picture from France. I also noticed an award they recently won 1^st place Bakery Winner for 2015. Guess what my next coffee meet up going to be?
If you have a chance or just make your way there and try it out. You won’t be disappointed

So apparently this Patisserie has been here for the last six years… say what? Well, yes. I guess I don’t get to this side of town often. But apparently I will be now. I guess the reason it might be missed is that it does not really stand out on the main road. Maybe the owners need to think about new signage. But, apparently it does get quite busy on certain days of the week.
When you walk into the patisserie you will see two framed awards for Excellence Winner in «SA Restaurant and Catering». Well, that is impressive! Then you are greeted with a smile and a mighty fine selection of very high quality pastries and cakes. They also have a number of large cakes available for purchase. Oh, and the croissants looked so amazing I have to return to give those a go!
Each cake and pastry is made with precision and expertise. This is not your general bakery around the corner Unilocalers. This is something you need to travel, see and try! Check out the pictures to get an idea.
After a very hard decision, I settled with the Gâteau a La Orange. I really love a simple well-​balanced cake. So, I thought this was a great choice to test their expertise. And it definitely delivered. What I love about the cake is that it is not too sweet. Sometimes orange cakes can be overdone with sugar and a little dense. This one was neither. It was fluffy, moist and comfortably orange in flavour. In fact, I just didn’t feel naughty eating it. So they are doing something right! Oh and their coffee comes out in really large cups. Almost mug size! Good quality too, so another tick for me.

Magnifique! Adelaide is sadly lacking in French options, which makes this café /​patisserie even more exciting. Authentic, friendly, delicious food, amazing croissants. So good to be able to get a real pain au chocolat in Adelaide at last. Macarons are amazing!

This little french café deserves more recognition and reviews! You’d think its a fashion store from the outside but its better than that. I stopped by for lunch after visting brighton beach. I hope they didnt mind the sand :-) They were quite friendly pastry chefs and staff. They have to die for french desserts! I had the mushroom soup and some du chocolat cake I cannot pronounce. The soup was filling and the cake was lighter than expected and very nice. It cost about $ 12 all up, which is pretty cheap for lunch. They also make larger cakes to order. Yum yum! Dont miss the black and white eiffel tower!

This patisserie is a hidden gem in Brighton. The moment you enter the shop, you will be overwhelmed with the amazing smell of pastries. From the almond croissant to the lemon meringue, its worth the trip to this cute patisserie.
Lovely Chef. He was very friendly and it was a delight to sip my coffee and enjoy my patisserie while watching him working on his cakes.
All in all, you will not be disappointed!
