This place has been a growing up favourite !! Remember going here in my early teens when it was just a 1 storey café thaf had a starters, mains and a couple desserts haha, and loved the fact of the late closing times !!
Was more than pleased when they renovated the place to a 2 storey dessert café, only downfall was that they were shut for so long that it was onlg a rumour of yhat actually happening till they finally opened the doors !
Lost count how many times I’ve been here before and after the new look.
Love this place to bits, they got some of the best tasting and big sized portions going around. The prices throw you of a bit. but see if you can finish it first before you judge the price lol!
This will always be a favourite and a very highly recommended place for a mean dessert with family of friends !!

Well guys it’s a great place to go for a dessert there is a great selection from your strawberry crepes to the great famous papas ricotta cheesecake, or great alcoholic icecream bowls, hard to choose right. But this place can get very noisy, and if u get a little stool in the front of the store it’s so uncomfortable. You also have no table service here u need to get up and order for ur self… and yes all orders come at different times even though u ordered together. Coffees always arrive Luke warm, so ask for a nice hot one.
And last of all usually have to wait in a line just like a nightclub.
Still worth a visit at least once.

Giving this place a second chance, I know exactly what I want. Expecting a better experience than last time, we ordered the Havana Club Ice Cream Bowl. Mango, macadamia and chocolate ice cream with fresh strawberries and banana, whipped cream, white chocolate sauce and some chocolate drops. It was definitely better than last time.
This time I took time to read the quirky quotes on the wall. Wish that everything else on their menu is as heavenly as the sundae I had.

Bay Vista was renowned back in the day for its enormous ice cream creations and late night trading hours, perfect for a post party pit stop.
These days, the fit out has received a phenomenal upgrade, as has the menu. For those with a sweet tooth, you’ll be hard pressed narrowing down a choice!
The only downside is the price, it’s on the pricier side for dessert and the total can escalate as quickly as your cholesterol levels. Maybe this has more to do with my sweet tooth and choosing too much on the menu

Bay Vista is a spectacular dessert bar in a brilliant location. Since it opened up it has consistently delivered such visually stunning & incredibly delicious desserts. I am an absolute sucker for the Snickers or Nutella crepes and the Cinnamon Scrolls are a must. The ice cream is top quality as well and they have an excellent range of cold and hot drinks to choose from.
The prices are pretty expensive for a dessert bar but you’ll do well to finish the dishes on your own — great portion sizes. The coffee isn’t the best around but it makes up for it with the quality of the desserts.
The location is brilliant, overlooking the beach and is the perfect place to have brunch on a Sunday afternoon. It does get a touch loud inside & out and can get difficult to get a table at night but if you get the chance to check it out, it is a must.
Have been a countless amount of times with friends & family and will definitely be going again — we love it there.

After a seafood lunch, we stopped in to bay vista for dessert, i thought the prices were fairly average but the desserts were above average on quality and portion size. I can highly recommend the sweet secret scroll. A large cinnamon scroll with maple syrup fresh banana and icecream, Service was fast and friendly, will definitely be back.

Aaahh bayvista!!! The amount of times my best friend and I have been here is uncountable. One of us is sad? We go to bayvista one of us has something to celebrate? We go to bayvista. We have spent many days and nights at this delicious dessert bar chatting, crying, supporting one another, celebrating and of course we love to go there for no reason but to indulge in the amazimg deserts. I am addicted to their chocolate ice cream it is so soft and creamy and just too good to be true. My friend gets either crepes or pancakes which she says are amazing. I had pancakes once and found them a little stogy but oh my the chocolate sauce they pour over them is insane. If you haven’t been here yet do yourself a favor and go

I’ve always heard good things about this place and always wanted to try. So tonight my Bay Vista virginity was broken. It was
Bloody good.
We had the blueberry waffles (it’s cool how the same flavours can be interchanged between waffles and pancakes) and loved it. The waffles could’ve been more crunchy though, and it wasn’t too sweet despite it’s sugary appearance!
Absolutely amazing atmosphere and there was never an empty table for more than 1 – 3 minutes. We sat next to the food lift that takes food upstairs and it was damn hard not to take the food for your own consumption…
Can’t wait for round 2!
