Ciao Ciao Bondi

Ciao Ciao literally translates to Hello or Goodbye so was this restaurants standards worthy of Hello Goodbye or perhaps Hello Hello ?
The restaurant is located along the ever surprising array of options given to us by Bondi Road. Don’t be fooled from the outside because this place offers classy style dining at a reasonable price. Normally When you consider where to eat Bondi Beach will come to people’s minds but this venue proves that Bondi Road has more to offer then just a quick take out style eatery. The interior is decorated very simply but with a nice Italian style touch.
The waiters quickly greeted us and happy to tell us the specials of the day and make suggestions. We decided to share a Margaretha Pizza as an entrée and were given a choice for it to come with Mushrooms or Onions. We choose the Mushrooms. The pizza was delicate and beautiful with a thin crust and crispy texture. Worth savouring each bite.
For the main I decided to opt for one of the daily specials which was a beef lasagne served with a side salad. The lasagne was cooked just the way momma used to make it if she was a kick ass chef in the kitchen. Good selection once again. We accompanied the meal with a nice bottle of white wine.
Finally when we felt like we couldn’t handle anymore it was dessert time. Bring on waffles with honeycomb ice cream to share. Perfect portion size to which you got to savour each bite without having to feel guilty for it.
Overall great ambiance and friendly staff and an ideal place to bring that special someone or just treat yourself to a fine Italian meal.
Ciao Ciao definitely «Hello Hello».

Absolutely love love love the pizza here! The pic is the children’s margarita, which my 10yo son said it was the best pizza he had ever had. thin crust salami pizza is to die for, so light and tasty & traditionally Italian. The service was excellent, and they offer a lovely drinks menu. And open Monday night! Highly recommended, lovely food, lovely atmosphere, lovely staff. Will be back next week :)
