Had a beautiful lunch at our new favourite local, Our Table in Bedford. I had a delicious Grilled Barramundi that had a perfect crispy skin with a lovely salad and my partner had Chicken and Mushroom Penne Pasta with Creamy Tomato Sauce. We’re looking forward to breakfast this Saturday as well as the breakfast menu looks delicious.

We had a tasty breakfast in the lovely café, nice décor and friendly staff. Coffee was of great quality. Prices were reasonable.

Have been here for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was very tasty, however serving size on the smaller side. Dinner on the other hand was very well portioned and delicious! We went in a large group, all food came out at the same time and everyone was very happy with their dishes. Highly recommended. Note: It is BYO.

Great food and atmosphere. Staff are all friendly and are not in your face. The owner/chef comes out to speak with customers regularly without being obtrusive. I have had breakfast/lunch/dinner and coffee and everyone of them had been fantastic. We will be back for more. highly recommend the duck for dinner!

Great café in an unassuming location. Really worth stopping, don’t let the surrounding shops put you off. Food is great, always en pointe, has a distinctive Italian edge and the coffee is smooth and not too bitter. The good thing about this place is that it’s a decent size & has a good amount of seating, but doesn’t feel big or cavernous. They’re also child friendly, not that there are kids running around the place or anything but the families seemingly blend in with the slightly hipster crowd and caffeinated couples. I’ve only been for breakfast & lunch and yet to try their dinner menu.

We went for dinner in the first week or two of its opening on a Saturday night. First thing that struck us was the ‘barn style’ seating. It is a long, skinny room. A long bench along one wall with tables for 2 or 4 along the length of the restaurant. In the middle, a few 4’s and then a long table. Maybe that was not a permanent long table? Don’t know, I might have to go back. Waitress was prompt, pleasant and polite. She served the Coke in the can as asked. Pâté was tasty served with Turkish bread. We had Beef Cheeks and Pasta dishes. Both tasty and very filling. And pricey. In fact, the menu, although varied tended to be on the pricey side of a café menu. Second waitress who served us Coke, slammed it down in a glass. Didn’t even take heed of our request. Plates were collected too soon. Waitresses and Chef, separately, came around the tables to see how everyone was enjoying their meals. They were very unobtrusive. I think they do not charge corkage so that is a bonus for those with a bottle or two. Might wait a couple of weeks to go back. Maybe they are still sorting themselves out. I think they open for breakfast. But if it isn’t a GOOD breakfast, for a reasonable price, I might stay home. We will see.
