Where great customer service in Sydney is rare we found Gigi’s to be the exception! My husband and I stubble across this place on a rainy day. We each had pasta and shared a pizza. Very delicious food and friendly waiters made us feel warm and at home. Definitely recommend to friends :)

Stars at Gigis used to have some of the best pizzas and best desserts in the Inner West. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. Whilst some of the kitchen food remains to be quite nice, the quality of the pizzas has dropped. And whilst their desserts now aren’t bad, they lack the ingenuity, artistic flair and delectable nature that they once claimed. The venue is still quite nice(the upstairs balcony a particularly sweet spot for summer) and the staff are pleasant. Plus, they offer medium sized gluten free bases which actually taste pretty good. Basically, it’s ok. But if you’re expecting the Stars of Gigis of old, you will be disappointed. NB: Within minute of writing this I’ve heard rumour that the famed pastry chef is back. Stay tuned.
