Omfg! This place is my new home. Love love love. Cannot even think of any other word to describe this place. I was reluctant to start with as some reviews had said it was hard to order as a lot of the wait staff were hard up on English which usually doesn’t bother me at all but with some really random menu items I didn’t want to chance it. BUT I thought hey lets dive on it and by heck I am glad we did. It was just two of us so we ordered a split soup of chicken and sweet corn and laksa. The laksa had amazing flavour and I could’ve just had it as is, but we got some fried tofu, cabbage, bok choy, garlic chicken, enoki mushrooms, prawn ball and handmade noodles. You get to get any amount of condiments from the wall of condiments all the chili items were hot on my list and were amazing. They constantly refill your soups when they start to get low which if you are person who needs to eat everything in front of you, you will fail because it never ends. I realised I would’ve probably just been happy with a vego selection without the garlic chicken because it was epically garlicky and did change the flavour of the soups. Ordering was easy and we were able to get takeaway containers which was so good because the amount of items they give you is more than plentiful. This place is to die for and I will definitely be returning again and again and again especially in winter! Take me back now! So happy!

One of my favourite restaurants in Adelaide. Hot pot is best enjoyed in the cooler seasons when it’s extra chilly outside or when one simply needs a comforting hug in a form of a hot, nourishing, and delicious broth. It’s most fun when you are going in a large group of friends say anywhere from four to even about ten or more people. The concept of being able to cook my own food right on the table is something I always am up for and I always have a blast doing so. The more people you get together the more dishes you can order and you’ll also be able to split the bill so it can easily be a very filling and cheap feed. You can order huge hot pots to share but my friends and I like to order our own individual mini pots and share the dishes of meats and vegetables among us. I recommend to get a variety of the the meats such as the sliced beef and the pork — it’s every carnivore’s dream. Definitely get the vegetable platter as well and it’s great for huge groups as it’s a real generous serving of a variety of vegetables such as Chinese cabbage, bok choi, slices of potato, as well as tofu, quail eggs and rice cakes. Delicious! I usually order the tom yum if I want a broth with a sweeter flavour or if I’m feeling a bit something ‘neutral’ I’ll go with the combination mushroom soup. This place is pretty popular and gets packed even on weekdays so don’t be surprised if you have to wait a bit to get a table especially on a Friday or Saturday night. There’s also a self-service bar where you can get unlimited servings of dipping sauces in the corner in which you are spoilt for choice. I usually get the Cantonese BBQ sauce with some ground chilli on top. I hear it’s open pretty late as well up until 2am if I am not mistaken on Friday and Saturday nights. Never disappointed. Always satisfied every single time.
